Experience:  After a 30-plus year career in public and private accounting, including tax planning, research and business consulting, Gordon retired in 2010.

Education: B.B.A. in business administration, accounting from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA

Community involvement: Gordon is involved in the following: board of directors of the Lutheran Services in Iowa Foundation, treasurer for the First Lutheran Church and member of the finance committee for the United Way of East Central Iowa.

Family life & hobbies: Gordon’s wife is Jean and his children are Eric and Anne. He enjoys spending time with his family, Hawkeye sports and reading.
