Experience: For five years, Stacey worked in marketing, sales and client service for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Wisconsin. For the next nine years, she worked for Palmer Snyder Furniture Co. launching their inside sales department, training and managing staff, and teaming with their marketing division. She also handled all of their national accounts.
In 2006, Stacey joined Honkamp Krueger to grow the tax credit department, which began as one employee processing one credit, the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC). Today, Stacey leads a highly-knowledgeable, friendly team that actively pursues several federal and state employment tax credits for hundreds of businesses coast-to-coast. The process of researching, understanding, applying for and recouping tax credits is extremely tedious on employers who do not understand the ins and outs of this process. Stacey and her team provide support and relief for these businesses that should be receiving the tax credits they deserve.
