As the controller, Amy provides oversight of the firm’s accounting operations. This includes monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management. With more than 30 years of experience in public and private accounting, Amy has worked with a variety of industries, including construction, wholesale, service, higher education, health care, insurance, and employee benefit plan audits. Previously, she served as assurance director for a Top 5 public accounting firm, as well as controller for a midsize family-owned business. Amy joined Honkamp in 2016.

Amy and her husband, Greg, have three children, Ben, Adam, and Ellie. She enjoys visiting her children in Florida and Colorado. She also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, traveling, gardening, boating, and snowshoeing.
