With more than 36 years of experience in taxation, Jonathan brings deep technical expertise and a long-standing commitment to high-quality client service. Before joining Honkamp, Jonathan spent 14 years as a tax partner with a mid-sized CPA firm in St. Louis County. His background also includes authoring multiple published articles for the Missouri Society of CPAs’ member publication and later serving a two-year term as Chair of the organization’s statewide Taxation Committee.
At Honkamp, Jonathan focuses on tax research, complex special projects and educating team members firmwide. He reviews business, individual and trust
income tax returns and provides strategic tax and business planning guidance to
clients across industries. In 2016, he was recognized as one of St. Louis’s Top 10
CPAs by St. Louis Business Monthly.
