Mike has more than 20 years of experience serving clients with their tax, accounting, business valuation and management advisory needs in a variety of industries. As partner, he leads the firm’s growth efforts through merging and acquiring CPA firms that meet Honkamp’s vision and culture, and he has been a frequent speaker on tax strategies at franchise association conferences. Prior to joining Honkamp in 1999, Mike worked at a Top 5 national CPA firm.

Mike and his wife, Carrie, have four children, Karlie, Hayley, Luke and Wil. Mike enjoys attending his children’s sporting events as well as staying active and participating in sports himself.
