With more than 30 years of experience providing tax, financial, and business advisory services to businesses and their owners, Terry focuses on helping clients optimize their financial performance in a tax-efficient manner while mitigating risk. Prior to joining Honkamp in 2024, he was a tax partner at a Top 5 national accounting firm, serving middle-market clients in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, healthcare, and professional services. Before that, Terry served as tax director for a large wholesale distribution and manufacturing company, as well as a publicly traded energy company. He specializes in pass-through entity taxation, individual tax and financial planning, merger and acquisition (M&A) structuring, and serving clients in the manufacturing and construction industries

Terry enjoys spending time with his daughters, Adrianna and Kiley, when they are home from college. He also enjoys outdoor activities, from fishing and boating to snow skiing. When he’s indoors, you’ll usually find Terry strumming a guitar while his dog, Willie Nelson, lies nearby.
