Experience

Rob joined Honkamp in 2008 as a member of the audit department. He was a team leader for audits and reviews in a variety of industries. In 2013, Rob joined Honkamp’s business valuation department. Rob’s experience in performing business valuations includes
valuations for succession planning purposes, buy-sell agreements, estate planning purposes, matrimonial actions, mergers and acquisitions, and business sales.

As a shareholder in the business valuation department, Rob is responsible for overseeing the firm’s valuation department and engagements. He assists clients in understanding valuation theory, guides them through the valuation process and establishes expectations for the engagement to ensure that those expectations are met.

In February 2023, Rob completed a specialized program in professional divorce analysis and was accredited as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®). Rob is trained to provide financial information to people going through a divorce, to evaluate tax implications of dividing property, and to analyze the financial impact of divorce settlement options.

Rob and his wife, Meghan, have two children, Vail and Rex. He enjoys early-morning workouts, golfing and spending time with family, friends and his big dog, Beau.
