Don't overlook the new overtime rules

This fall, the Department of Labor ruled to raise the annual salary threshold to $35,568 from $23,660 for executive, administrative and professional employees effective Jan. 1, 2020. Which means, if you haven’t made changes already, you could be in for a shock in the new year.
