High School Accounting Program

Interested in learning more about a career in accounting?

Honkamp offers a free program designed for current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to discover what a career in the accounting profession looks like with a spotlight of our audit and tax departments.

The field of accounting might not be what you think it is. If you imagine people crunching endless pages of numbers, think again. Our staff works with leading companies not only in the tri-state area, but nearly all 50 states, using the latest technology and working to help businesses succeed. Additionally, we specialize in industries that include construction and real estate, manufacturing and distribution, dental practices, restaurants and home health care.

This program will provide students with the opportunity to:

Learn about the diverse type of work involved
Meet and hear from Honkamp's leaders
Learn about the skills needed
Ask questions about the profession
Make an informed decision earlier
Prepare to successfully enter the accounting profession
Help you stand out to get a foot in the door
Uncover earning potential

When:

3 to 4:30 p.m. on the following days at the following Honkamp office locations.

Davenport, Iowa:

Thursdays: July 11, 18 and 25, and August 1

Dubuque, Iowa:

Wednesdays, July 17, 24 and 31, and August 7
