Doug has more than 23 years of experience primarily in tax consulting, research, planning and compliance for clients in a variety of industries. He also has experience in accounting, audit and estate planning. Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, his focus has been on interpreting the law and its impact on employers and individuals, monitoring new developments, and assisting clients with implementation strategies and compliance. He is also involved in the management of the firm’s tax department. Doug joined HK in 1993.
