Don’t Leave Money on the Table: Incentives for Companies Making Location Decisions

Real estate never slows down. Neither should your incentive strategy.

In today’s fast-paced real estate market, facility and hiring decisions happen quickly. But if incentives aren’t part of the conversation before the deal is done, your business could be leaving money on the table.

Honkamp’s location advisory services help businesses capture economic incentives and maximize value when choosing where to expand, relocate or invest. If you’re planning any of the following, now is the time to act:

  • Adding 25+ jobs over the next five years
  • Buying, leasing, expanding or building a facility in the next 12 months
  • Merging with or acquiring another business
  • Purchasing more than $1 million in new equipment
  • Relocating operations
  • Expanding a plant or office
  • Training new employees

These moves can unlock major incentives, but only if you act early. Reach out to your Honkamp account manager to explore how we can support your next move.

Turning SALT into Savings

$150,000—that’s what our state and local tax (SALT) team helped a manufacturer keep in their pocket by leveraging a key sales tax exemption. When it comes to audits and appeals, we know the rules and how to make them work for you. Curious what exemptions you might be missing? Check out our article 7 Sales Tax Exemptions Every Manufacturer Should Know and let’s talk about how we can help you do the same.
